Description
This 12-day journey follows some of the very best 4WD tracks in New Zealand, travelling from the north of the South Island to the south on an unforgettable guided overland adventure.
By day, we explore remote valleys, mountain routes, river crossings, historic gold country and spectacular wilderness scenery. By night, the itinerary gives you the flexibility to stay in accommodation or camp, depending on your preferred style of travel.
 
Following the same spirit as our Wilderness Camping Trip, this adventure delivers the same style of route, the same big landscapes and the same sense of journey, but with the freedom to shape each evening to suit your own travel style.
This is a true South Island overland experience and a chance to drive some of the country's most outstanding 4WD routes in one continuous journey.
 
Accommodation
The itinerary includes the location of each overnight stop, and guests choose and book their own accommodation depending on budget, style and comfort level.
This gives you the freedom to stay in motels, lodges or other accommodation along the route, or to camp if you prefer.
 
Cost breakdown
Trip price covers guided 4WD touring throughout the 12-day journey.
Accommodation or camping costs are not included. Guests arrange and pay for their own overnight setup.
Meals and personal expenses are not included unless stated otherwise.
